On-site childcare is operated onsite by the recreation center at the Chetola Resort. Two options are available– Camp Chetola (8 am – 5:30 pm, ages 4-12) and Babysitting (all times and all ages)
Camp Chetola is available for for children ages 4-12. It features an 800 sq. foot interactive play area for children with a tunnel and playhouse, a large-scale model railroad, games and a television.
Costs for a full day at Camp Chetola are $35/child and $30/sibling (8:30-5:30). Half-day costs are $20/child and $15/sibling.
Babysitting services are also available through the resort for $10/hour and $2/each additional sibling. Babysitting is available for all age children and at all times.
Additional information to sign up for childcare will be available in the spring.
Guests are welcome to share an attendee’s accommodations. If family members sharing the attendee’s accommodations will attend meals and activities, additional guest fees apply.
Adult guest attending meals and activities: $350
Children guests attending meals and activities: $200
In addition to the lodge rooms (for faculty and researcher scientists) and shared condominiums (graduate students and postdocs) offered with general registration, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom condominiums are available for attendees bringing families and in need additional room. Costs for attendees interested these family-friendly condominium housing are listed below. These costs include registration, private condominium accommodations meals and activities for the conference attendee. Additional fees apply for guests who will participate in conference meals and activities (see above).
